I always find how things trend on the internet fascinating. Or more specifically how things I've made/written suddenly become popular for seemingly no reason at all.

Last night, my Mighty No. 9 cross-stitch vid was at 20 views. Today, it's at over 200 600 1,000. (No, it's not a ton of views, but it's also a huge jump in less than 24 hours.) I can' ( Read more... )

So, I decided to finally crack open my embroidery book and make one of the projects in there. It actually turned out decently, especially since I freehanded the template. It was a lot more fun than I anticipated...it took me longer than I thought it would, but I'm assuming that had to do with the fact that I'm a n00b.

My eyes are ready to fall out, but the cross-stitching part of my latest project is done. Another 1+ hour of backstitching and this sucker is done.

I am so happy.

This month has brought many projects to an end. (Thankfully.)

My evenings have been spent working on this sucker. It's been a rather fun quilt to make, so that's a good thing.  I still have a lot left, including the border and the quilting, but it certainly looks like more progress than my cross-stitch, LOL
